Mareeba Gymnastics Club offers a various range of convenient payment methods for parents to allow the ease of access to gymnastic lessons. Methods of payment are eftpos both credit and debit cards, & over the phone transactions (OPT). 

Please note- We are cashless; this is simply safer for our team and more time is spent on coaching not counting.

All participants must wear appropriate attire throughout each and every class.

Appropriate attire includes:

• Hair tied back – out of face

• Clothing should be stretch fabric or loose fitting enough to allow movement but not baggy

• Female gymnasts are encouraged to wear a full piece leotard. (underwear is not recommended under a leotard)

• Male gymnasts should wear a tight fitting t-shirt or singlet, shorts cut above knee height (e.g. Rugby style shorts) with no pockets.  Underwear (briefs) must be worn at all times under shorts (boxer shorts are not acceptable). 

Please ensure your child brings along a water bottle to take into class with them.  This MUST contain water only.

Yes! All our lessons are fully insured with Gymnastics Queensland. Casual lesson prices are slightly more expensive to cover the cost of insurance.

We run in line with the Education Queensland Calendar. We are closed on public holidays. All our lessons correspond with the state school terms in our local area. Please note that classes do not operate in the first week and the last week of the year.

All our coaches are accredited through Gymnastics Australia and hold a nationally recognised coaching qualification. All our assistants and mentees are actively working towards their qualifications.

Yes of course. This is dependant upon availability of positions in classes.  New enrolments are accepted all year-round.

Parents are welcomed to watch the classes. We offer a viewing platform upstairs and plenty of grandstands out the front of the gym.

We sure do, our canteen is operated by volunteers and is open every day for purchasing snacks, sweets, and cold drinks.

If you can assist in the opening or running of the canteen please speak with us at the office.
